There is no 'safe.'
 
There used to be knights to slay the dragons, but we retired them and told ourselves those were fairy tales, even as we explored the deep marshes and humid swamps that the crocodile called home. Enormous beasts that did everything they could to resemble the legends of old, save breathe fire. We didn't send knights after these beasts, though. We sent biologists and herpetologists to categorize and account and tell us we're safe.
 
But there is no 'safe.'
