Steph Underwood was always career focussed. She had to be.
In the cutthroat world of high-stakes journalism, the job has to absorb you. There can't be anything to distract you from the next scoop, the next clue, the next story. That suited Steph just fine.
She’s done everything possible to keep her personal life private. Unfortunately, that means when her girlfriend leaves her, Steph has no one to lean on. Then Julia Demendo pushes her way in, like any intrepid journalist, and places herself as the one friend Steph can rely on.
But friendships can be hard enough among coworkers without falling in love with them. Steph must weave her way carefully as the new boss, juggling a major murder story, adding to her news team, and learning to date all over again.
Can she do it all without letting her attraction to Julia win out? Or will her feelings topple her carefully constructed persona? Download today to find out!
The Love of Julia
“Any fan of romance will be thoroughly entertained by this tale, and, if you’re anything like me, you’ll be wishing for more once you’re finished.”
— Jeff Slade, Bestselling contributor to the From the Rock series.
“A wonderful story of love, truth, and friendship.”
— Matthew LeDrew, Bestselling author of Touch Your Nose.
“I enjoyed this. Some twists and turns in the relationship, although it never felt truly in doubt. Complications are good, though. I like that the one character didn’t just act like a victim around the other main character’s issues. Those were well done… Overall, a very good read.” — Amazon Customer Review!
