Engen Non-Fiction

Engen Books brings its unique voice on Newfoundland and Labrador culture to non-fiction, shining light on the areas of the province's history that have been left unpublished for too long.

The first editor of the Engen Non-Fiction line was Amanda Labonté and her efforts added to its success and substantially.

The first books published in the line included academic essays. The line has gone on to produce Track Shoes and Shotguns by Gord Follett, It's Just Politics by Sonia B. Glover and more, and will soon bring A Queer History of Newfoundland to print from Rhea Rollmann.
