Engen Books is proud to reveal the sixth author to be featured in Mythology from the Rock, KA Mielke!

Mielke in an Ontario native who has a gift for melding the strange with literary sensibilities. He is best known for his short fiction, which has appeared in nearly a dozen short fiction anthologies throughout the country since 2010.

Some of his best known work includes “Old as the Sun” from A Metazen Christmas (2010), “The Disastrous Disappointment of Dictatorship” from Off Topic Publishing (2017), and, “One Breakup to Rule Them All” from The Art of Breaking Up (2020).

In 2020 he published his first novel, Victory Lap, co-authored with Riley Alexis Wood. He brings with him his new story 'Clay,' a modern take on the mythology surrounding golems.

Mielke joins Ali House, Peter J Foote, Yasmine Dalloul, Hannah Jenkins, and AJ Ryan on the list of announced authors.

There are twenty-two authors yet to be revealed, including award-winning short fiction authors, popular novelists, and mainstays of the From the Rock series! Stay tuned to Engen Books for more revelations!
