New Rocker! Lisa M Daly joins the cast of Mythology from the Rock!

Engen Books is proud to announce that Dr. Lisa M Daly of St. John's Newfoundland has been named the fifteenth author to be featured in the epic Mythology from the Rock collection, spanning stories of myth and legend from all over the world.

With this title, Daly has earned the title of 'Rocker' (or alternatively, Rock Star), a title reserved for From the Rock authors who have proven themselves proficient at each of the three main categories of genre fiction: science-fiction, fantasy, and horror.

Daly's previous contributions to the series include The Mouse from Pulp Science Fiction From The Rock, and The Island Outside the War from Dystopia From The Rock. She was also the guest editor on Flights from the Rock, lending her extensive knowledge in aviation history to the series. In November 2020, she won the monthly Kit Sora Flash Fiction contest.

In December 2020 her first novella, Navigating Stories, was released through Engen Books.

Daly joins a list of only 11 authors to have accomplished the task of becoming Rockers, including Ali House, Chantal Boudreau, Jeff Slade, Jon Dobbin, Matthew Daniels, Nicole Little, Paul Carberry, Peter J Foote, Sam Bauer, and, Shannon K Green.

Daly is an aviation archaeologist with multiple non-fiction publications. Her archaeological work has been featured in documentaries, including an episode of Land and Sea. When not writing, she enjoys foraging to make preserves, wines, and ciders.

She brings with her story, ‘Songs of the Deep.’

Daly joins Shannon K Green, Elaine Rigas, Emily S. Dodge, Ainsley Hawthorn, Jeff Slade, Chantal Boudreau, Amanda Evans, Melissa Bishop, KA Mielke, Ali House, Peter J Foote, Yasmine Dalloul, Hannah Jenkins, and AJ Ryan on the list of announced authors.
